Cheer and Dance Mitey Mite division is designed for ages 7-9. Coaches develop routines incorporating dance, cheers, and stunts appropriate for the age group. Cheer teams will compete at local and regional competitions. As a competitive level, teams in this division can qualify for the Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championship held annually in December. Cheer teams support football teams during games. Divisions are primarily determined by the participant's age as of July 15th. Cheerleaders are placed on teams primarily based on Pop Warner age divisions and the needs of the organization. Placement may also take into consideration roster balance, coaching availability, team size limits, and overall league structure. Final team placements will be communicated to families via email following preseason evaluations or introductory practices.
